St Mary's School Computer Donation
Last year, B&A Group were proud to support St Mary's school and aid in the contributions to enable them to purchase some additional laptops for the students. Having been in use for a good while now, we are delighted to provide some wonderful feedback from the school as well as some of the children:
At St. Mary’s we only had 17 laptops that had to be shared across the whole school. This made computing lessons a challenge and the children had to use them one between two. It was felt that our provision needed to be greatly improved, so we set about costing up the hardware that we would need. After much discussion and research the school decided to obtain 32 Chromebooks, a rather expensive venture.
We would like to greatly thank the B&A Group for their most generous grant of £3000 towards the £15,000 costs of purchasing a set of 32 Chromebooks for the school. The B&A Group have a long tradition of supporting local charities and as an established business in the South West are very proud to give back to the local community and provide support wherever they can. The school has already seen the benefit of this investment and the children are greatly enjoying using them.
