We’re proud to recognise a significant milestone for our very own Marc Large, who has reached his 10-year anniversary with B&A Group.
Since joining us as a Logistics Manager in October 2014, Marc has steadily advanced to his current role as Transport Operations Director, taking on ever-greater responsibility and becoming a key part of our operations team. Over the years, Marc’s commitment, expertise, and leadership have made an invaluable impact on our business.
Marc’s role spans every operational detail, supporting the efficiency and compliance of our entire transport function. He oversees all operational logistics across our sites, ensuring smooth coordination, equipment maintenance compliance, and strategic planning. He also manages the fuel and maintenance requirements for our fleet, both at our primary and satellite locations. Marc’s such a core piece of B&A, and is named on the Operator’s Licence.
Marc’s journey at B&A includes achieving his International CPC qualification in 2015, a step that equipped him to take on the complexities of our transport needs with even greater confidence and expertise. His eye for detail and proactive approach are clear as he addresses each day’s challenges, and his ability to adapt to the dynamic demands of his role has been an asset to our team.
When asked what he enjoys most about working at B&A Group, Marc shared that no two days are the same, and the fast pace keeps him motivated. “There’s never a dull day here,” he says, and it’s clear that Marc’s dedication to finding effective solutions and driving progress is unwavering.
Outside of work, Marc balances his commitment to B&A with an active lifestyle, including his interests in fitness, golf, and family life. His young family’s involvement in sports clubs also helps keep his focus sharp and well-rounded, both on and off the job.
