We at B&A Group would like to say a big congratulations to Sebastian Jedynak, who celebrates his tenth anniversary at B&A. Sebastian started working at B&A on 7th April 2015.
Sebastian is part of our tight-knit and dedicated yard staff, working under the management of Rob Westcott, our Yard Manager. Sebastian is a ‘Loading Shovel Operator’, moving stockpiles, loading vehicles and creating stockpiles around our vast yard from 6.30 to 17.00. Sebastian is so dedicated to B&A he also works as yard security on a Saturday evening; he says he likes the peace and quiet.
Rob can only sing Sebastian's praises, ‘Sebastian has a diligent work ethic; he is very hard-working and conscientious. In all the time I have known him, he hasn’t taken last-minute days off or been late. He loves what he does and loves his machine. Sebastian is an all-round good bloke, well-liked by his colleagues, and is a valued part of our well-oiled team’.
Sebastian comments, ‘I am extremely happy at B&A, if I wasn’t, I wouldn’t have stayed ten years. I work with nice people; we are like a family and it’s nice to see the same friendly faces each day. I love my work; my nerves are connected to my machine; we are one. I think it and my machine does it. I love my machine, big toys for big boys’.
Our Group Sales Director Ashley Bruno notes, 'Wow, Sebastian, what can I say. A man of few words, yet when he provides feedback to both the office and drivers, it's absolutely spot on. He is a vital part of the team and remarkably efficient, one of the hardest-working people I’ve come across. Congratulations on your ten years, we look forward to many more years to come.'
