David Price joined B&A Group as our BASS Sales & Transport Co-ordinator in March 2021 which was also where his career in the industry began. Even though Dave has only been with us for just over a year, he has already learned so much about the aggregate and groundworks sectors.
Dave currently runs the procurement and logistics for B&A Stone Supplies, ensuring that we maintain a high standard during delivery for our customers and provide the very best service that B&A Group are so widely known for. This fundamental role requires Dave to manage a fleet of around 20 aggregate hauliers, maximising their workload and fulfilling customer contracts. Dave also goes above and beyond to support the administration team at Bristol and Avon Stone Supplies to help ensure all paperwork is processed and our hauliers are paid accurately and on time.
Dave's day to day tasks range from planning and issuing work for our fleet of B&A drivers to ensuring contracts are completed and done in the most economic and streamlines way possible. Dave is also responsible for the day-to-day management of administration for stone supplies and issuing purchase orders, dealing with invoice queries etc.
One of Dave's favourite thing about working for B&A Group is that they have helped to shape his career by offering a clear development and training path over the last year which has enabled him to excel in his abilities. With an ever-increasing client base around the South West, there is always an opportunity for our staff to test their skills and try something new to achieve the best possible results. Outside of work, Dave likes to keep active by going to the gym and playing sports. When he isn't catching up with his friend on the weekend or visiting family in Cornwall, Dave likes to go on road trips and discover new places.
