Rob Westcott has been part of the B&A Group family for almost 5 years but is not new to the industry. With nearly 30 years experience, it’s safe to say that Rob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
As Material Recycling Facility Manager, Rob is responsible for managing the Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) Department and effectively manages all department staff to ensure efficient and effective productivity at all times. He is also in charge of managing equipment checks & pre-checks along with troubleshooting any production issues.
When we asked Rob what he liked best about working at B&A Group, he said that one of the biggest things for him is being somewhere with a genuine family atmosphere despite the size of the company and with the tremendous growth over the years, you can now benefit from the security which comes with a larger business without compromise on key values. Rob also loves the opportunity that comes with the role and the amount of reward and job satisfaction he gets from solving challenges and bringing value to the team.
No two days or projects are ever the same which means that Rob is always kept on his toes and thrives on the endless opportunities to test his knowledge and identify the best solutions for the job.
There’s no doubt that Rob is extremely busy in his role but when he does find some free time, he enjoys taking the dogs for a walk and spending quality time with his family.
