This month, we proudly celebrate the 5th birthday of B&A Stone Supplies (BASS)! What began as a natural extension of B&A Group’s services in 2020 has since evolved into a powerhouse in the aggregates industry. Despite economic shifts and market challenges, our dedicated team has continuously driven BASS forward, surpassing expectations year after year.
Unparalleled Growth
The scale of operations has increased, serving more areas than ever before. Delivering more materials than ever before. BASS’ operational area now extends to Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Devon, Hereford, and Worcester, the furthest afield even being Carlisle and Newquay. B&A Stone Supplies now offer over 55 different aggregate products from over 50 locations nationwide, all upheld to BASS’ renowned high standards.
B&A Stone Supplies have now supplied over 500 different customers, in part thanks to multiple long term haulage agreements that increase coverage and volume capabilities. An impressive 95% of orders through 2024 were supplied under a same day or next day delivery service. We are looking to grow this figure into Quarter 1 of 2025 and beyond.
These factors all adding up to strengthened relations and cementing BASS abilities in the field.

This year also saw the addition of Ben Woodman to the team. Ben joined as Transport Planner for BASS in July, bringing with him years of experience from the British Red Cross to bolster the team’s capabilities and expertise. Ben has made a significant impact, helping to streamline logistics and further smooth the day-to-day running of operations.
The Year Ahead
2025 is already shaping up to be the most successful in BASS’ history. Numerous contracts are set to start that will propel the division to new heights of turnover and achievement. The team of Stuart, Reeko, and Ben are more confident than ever on BASS’ offering and the opportunities that 2025 presents, labelling the year ahead as "prosperous and fulfilling."
