Certified muck away services in Bristol & the South West
Projects involving site clearance for groundworks will inevitably produce subsoil waste and must be handled and disposed of in a way that is both safe and as sustainable as possible. Contact a member of our team today to discuss your project requirements.

Our muck away services cover areas including:

- Industrial development
We are certified to remove all types of waste including inert subsoil, non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Our dedicated team of professionals are able to classify your material to determine the most appropriate options.
Our Muck Away Fleet
For our expert muck away service, we have a 100 strong fleet of owned and subcontractor 8 wheel tipper lorries that can carry up to 20 tonnes of material to suit all types of projects. Our drivers are trained professionals with up to date operator licences, are waste carrier certified and our muck away vehicles are fully insured. Our fleet is managed by a comprehensive in house maintenance program at our on-site workshop in Hallen.
We also provide grab hire services for waste and recycling transportation which can be an ideal solution for the more restricted areas on your project site.
Waste Disposal & Handling
Materials collected are either sorted selectively at our 11-acre aggregate production facility in Hallen or recovered safely at one of our permitted tipping facilities. With a firm focus on environmental legislation each site is permitted to accept common construction waste materials including inert and non-hazardous soils and stone.
We can also provide both disposal and recycling options for problematic material types including, but not limited to, asbestos impacted soils, metal and hydrocarbon contaminated soils and industrial waste, ensuring that any treatment is executed in line with latest guidance.
All sites handled by B&A are operated under environmental permits issued by the Environment Agency or Definition of Waste Code of Practice Materials Management Plans (DoWCoP MMP) issued by CL:aire, and are fully compliant with their regulations. B&A operated sites also adhere to our internal environmental and health & safety policies, and since as much waste is recovered as possible, rather than landfilled, BREEAM credits can be applied for on applicable developments.
As our robust recovery & recycling strategy offers a sustainable alternative to traditional land filling, we are also fully compliant with WRAP protocol.
