B&A provided assistance in developing the garden extensions for residential homes on a narrow street. This meant that access to the required work area was restrictive, which meant our team not only needed to carry out operations with constraints but also in collaboration with the customer.
Use of the grab hire equipment to enable the extension was limited but a number of factors, including the presence of a nearby school and the road itself needing to be clear of traffic which was commonplace in that area. Upon entering the site in the mornings we were also required to contact the client so the wagon itself could be escorted to the correct site.
The above time constraints also meant that we were limited to just 3 loads per day, which meant maintaining the scheduling and client relationship for an extended period over the period between September to November 2020. In total, we removed 43 loads totaling 301m3 of earth moved over the course of the project.
